Welcome to Pathways Support

He’s only gone and done it again….. our beautiful service user Ray has once again helped Pathways to win a provider recognition award from the Portsmouth LD team. Ray nominated Donna Bradfield to win the award for her outstanding support and we all agree that she is a very worthy winner!

Ray has worked so hard in the last couple of years and we couldn’t be prouder of him if we tried, he is our Ray of sunshine and our reminder that with some determination and empowerment goals CAN be achieved.
Thanks to Donna for all of her hard work, undoubtedly Ray would not be living his best life without your dedication 💜💜💜

Here at Pathways we support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs in the home and community.

Whether its direct support, shopping, supporting with appointments or going on holidays the life of a support worker is ever changing and always rewarding.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the regulator for Health and Social Care services in England. The CQC carry out inspections at a frequency that reflects their degree of concern for the quality or safety of a particular service. When we had our last inspection in February 2019, the inspector told us that she had no concerns about the safety or quality of our services.

Hi there,
Pathways Support is a care and support provider for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities based in the heart of Portsmouth.

With the current cost of living crisis, more and more people are going unnoticed by the system and many are living hungry and cold.

We at Pathways believe everyone should have access to the help they need and deserve, although we are already aware of some of the fantastic food bank organisations in Portsmouth, none specifically target adults with learning difficulties or disabilities.

As we know disabled people are at a disadvantage due to low employment opportunities and the extra costs some face. Harrowingly, almost half of people living in poverty either have a disability/LD or are an acting carer for someone with one.

In addition to this almost 70% of adults with learning difficulties say they have no resources for food banks and would not know where to go to for one.

Pathways, with the help of the community, would like to change this.

We hope to open a food bank from Fratton Community Centre with the target demographic being the LD community in and around Portsmouth.

We kindly ask if you would be willing to take us into consideration for any donations.

Lots of love
Lillie from Pathways

We offer a spectrum of innovative support services to vulnerable adults with a range of needs. We focus on empowerment, independence and promoting self-directed support and can offer everything from a few hours a week to 24/7 support.

We would just like to clearify that we are not associated with a company called “Pathways of Hope”.

We tradetrade only as “Pathways Support”.

Our philosophy is based on the principles of rights balanced with responsibility, adult environments that promote independence and personal growth and a commitment to continually improving the quality of every service we provide.
